MOTORINO™ XPv is one of our newest models, arrived in 2009. All non-electric components- including the frame, switches, brakes, suspension and body parts- are manufactured by Yamaha-China suppliers. The XPv incorporates the same CCT Driving System which successfully debuted on the North American market last year in our MOTORINO XP scooters. You will be able to independently select between economy, high torque and high speed modes; this versatility affords our bikes their famed torque, without shortening their range. A range of 100km can be achieved with a dual battery pack. The XPv features the same efficient regenerative braking system we developed for our earlier models, and employs the same hydraulic brake found on a 150cc motorcycle. It's robust frame, hydraulic suspension and 3.5" wide DOT tires provide a smooth and safe ride. The Xpv is slightly smaller than our other MOTORINO XP scooters, making it a more manageable and manoeuvrable vehicle. While technologically no different from our already world-beating bikes, its clean lines and vintage styling make the MOTORINO XPv our most aesthetic scooter yet. Always striving to improve our scooters, as of May 2009 the new Motorino XPv will feature front and rear hydraulic disk brakes with a built in ABS (Antilock Braking System) found only on premium scooters.
